She’s able to entertain herself with toys but will require supervision & redirecting when it comes to what she’s able to chew on / play with! This girl has never met a sock she hasn’t enjoyed.<br/><br/>Does your dog like to snuggle: She is the sweetest to snuggle. She still enjoys being picked up and held in your arms. She will happily snooze and cuddle for as long as you will stay next to her. She loves to cuddle with the young kids in her foster home and she is very gentle.<br/><br/>Does your dog know basic commands: She has learned “sit”, “down”, and “leave it”. Her recall is fairly reliable with consistency. She is very food motivated and very smart. With regular continued training using positive reinforcement, high value treats & redirection of unwanted behaviours she will continue to grow into the beautiful and smart dog she is!<br/><br/>Does your dog know any special tricks: Not yet.<br/><br/>Describe the dogs level of training: beginner, but she is eager to please!<br/><br/>Does your dog like to go on walks: We are exploring short distances on our leash and enjoying all the new sights and smells of the neighborhood. She loves being outside in all weather. This is your four season friend!<br/><br/>Does your dog have any fears: She is timid and skittish with big moments especially by adults. She would benefit from a stable and calm environment where she can continue to gain confidence.<br/><br/>Does your dog have any unique traits you have noticed whether in personality or physically: Mica has the face of a husky and colouring of a German shepherd. She is stunning. She is a timid and nervous girl in environments and people she’s unfamiliar with. As she becomes more comfortable and trusting she is sweet and happy to see you. The best tail wags!<br/><br/>What are the 3 first words that come to mind when you think of your dog: Timid, Sweet, Snuggly<br/><br/>Provide a description of your foster dog and the ideal home for them:<br/>Mica’s ideal looking forever family would be active and committed to her mental and physical enrichment. She would enjoy a home with or without dog-savvy children, and would enjoy having another canine companion but could also be a solo dog. She would do well with a calm well mannered dog who could teach her and play with her, with slow and proper introductions to set her up for success. Her adopters must be committed to training and be familiar with the stages of puppyhood to ensure Mica’s developmental needs are met.
