Miara's Story

Hi, I'm Miara - a joyful, bouncy mama pittie with a big heart and even bigger love for life.

I didn't seem to have much experience living inside a home before coming into rescue, so I'm still figuring out things like house manners and basic training. But I'm a fast learner, I try really hard, and I'm happiest when I'm included and given a chance to understand what's being asked of me.

At my core, I'm a happy-go-lucky girl who loves to play, zoom around the yard, and soak up every bit of sunshine I can find. I enjoy walks, outdoor time, and anything that lets me stretch my legs and enjoy the world with my people.

I've also got a playful, rough-and-rowdy style when it comes to other dogs. I really enjoy dog friends who are confident, tolerant, and okay with enthusiastic play. I could also do very well as the only dog in the home, where I can soak up all the attention and bond closely with my humans.

When the excitement winds down, I'm all about the soft life-couch cuddles, being close to my people, and settling in after a good day. I do well in my crate, I'm respectful of my space, and I'm continuing to grow into my best self with consistency and guidance.

If you're looking for a goofy, loving, people-oriented dog who's excited to learn and ready to bond deeply with her family, I just might be your girl.
