Miara's Story

Good news! My adoption fee is 50% off during the month of June! There has never been a better time to take me home.

Meet Miara

Miara has spent most of her life raising puppies. Now it's finally her turn to be someone's baby.

This happy-go-lucky mama pittie is the perfect mix of fun and affection. She's the kind of dog who greets each day with enthusiasm, whether that means zooming around the yard, exploring on a walk, or simply following her favorite people around the house with a wagging tail.

When Miara first came into rescue, it was clear that life inside a home was new to her. She's still learning the basics, but what she lacks in experience, she makes up for in heart. She's eager to please, quick to learn, and genuinely wants to be part of whatever her people are doing.

Miara loves other dogs, but she's not interested in polite little games. Her play style is enthusiastic, energetic, and sometimes a bit rowdy, so she'd do best with a confident dog who can match her energy and appreciate her playful spirit. She'd also be perfectly happy as the center of attention in a home where she doesn't have to share her humans.

And while she loves to play, Miara's favorite place at the end of the day is right beside her people. After a good romp in the yard, she's more than happy to trade her zoomies for couch cuddles and a cozy nap.

She's crate trained, full of personality, and ready to experience all the things she's missed out on-family movie nights, lazy Sunday mornings, adventures with her people, and the simple comfort of belonging.

Miara has spent her life giving love to everyone else. Now she's looking for a family who will give some back.

Could that be you?
