Mia Mama's Story

** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX. Prospective adopters must be able to travel to San Antonio to complete the adoption process. Please apply online at http://texasgreatdane.org/adoption-application/ **

Mia Mama is an adorable 2-year-old Shih Tzu (possibly schnauzer) mix who weighs approximately 11 pounds. She came to us very skinny, (with 2-week-old puppies who were also starving). After getting a good diet (and love and comfort), she started showing how cute, fun and loving she is. Mia is potty trained (and can use a dog door). She loves to be held and to cuddle next to you at night. She also loves to play and do 'zoomies'. She is sensitive to perfume, and other types of smells, so cannot go to a home with someone who wants those scents filling their home.

Please understand you are committing to providing a good home for her entire life (up to 15+ years or more.)

You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization.

Her adoption fee is $250. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar.

Please be aware that puppies and small breed dogs do get adopted quickly so interested parties are encouraged to apply online at www.saspca.org.

Please ensure your application is complete before submitting. We do verify property ownership, landlord references, apartment/HOA restrictions, veterinary references, and criminal histories.

Our adoption events are every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Event hours are 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Additional questions may be directed to sagdinfo@gmail.com.

** This dog is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX.
