Mia (Hospice Senior)'s Story

Miss Mia is hoping to find a nice comfortable place to land! Mia is a senior chihuahua who has had an incredible bounce back from the condition she was in upon arrival. When she first arrived to the shelter she was underweight, losing hair, and has a serious dental problem but after some TLC from CGHS she is vibrant and ready for a furever home. Mia had her infected tooth pulled, gained lots of weight and her coat is in amazing condition though she can be an itchy girl!

Mia does stay in an office with 3 other small dogs she seems to get along pretty good with, she does value her space and isn't the most playful with other dogs but co-exists great! A foster of hers said that she got really good at letting them know that she needs to use the bathroom but with that being said she is an older lady so she will have accidents no matter what. Mai is not a fan of cats and had made a habit of chasing them in one of her foster homes, it could be trainable but it might be easier for her to just live without them.

Mia is a great little old lady looking for a place where she can finally rest and stop living in survival mode, she's ready to be a couch potato with her new furever family!

Weight: 9lbs
Age: 10-11 years
Adoption fee: Hospice Adoption, this dog does not have adoption fee due to the age and possible future medical complications of a senior dog.
