Mia's Story

Mia's story is one of survival, strength, and pure Joy. She was found as a stray less then a year old, weighing only 29 pounds. Her little body was shutting down. She had a pervious broken leg, had already been through a litter of puppies, and was fighting just to survive.

Fast forward through three surgeries, endless love, and proper nutrition and today this beautiful girl is a healthy 63 pounds of happiness.
Mia is truly an entertainer. She his goofy, funny and runs like a deer across the yard and greets everyday like it's the best day ever. Because she once knew starvation, she will always be very food motivated and ready for mealtime. This will just make training easier. Her only special needs is she takes medication twice a day for seizures, no big deal and she does wonderfully on it. Mia loves dogs, cats and anything willing to play. She has so much love to give and is ready for a family who will cherish her the way she deserves.

If you are looking for a loyal, joyful, resilient companion Mia is your girl.
Apply to adopt Mia today and be a part of her beautiful second chapter
