She allowed gentle pets and eventually relaxed enough to be picked up and placed safely in the vehicle with her pup. It was the first step toward a brand‑new life.<br/><br/>Now, Mia is blossoming. Her skin is healing beautifully, her strength is returning, and she is learning what it feels like to be truly loved and cared for. She has discovered the comfort of a warm home and enjoys relaxing in spaces where she feels safe. Making dog friends has become a joyful journey for her—she now happily runs and wrestles with her foster's resident Lab and Pittie. While she’s still learning the art of taking breaks, her excitement to finally have friends her size is heartwarming.
