She is a local save who sadly needed to be rehomed when her young human sibling developed allergies. Though they tried to keep her - utilizing daycares, walkers, and friends - Mia needed to be somewhere with consistency.<br/><br/>After the trauma and confusion of so many changes in caregivers, she is weary of strangers and takes time to warm up. Once Mia sees you as a friend, there’s no turning back. She’ll lean into you, smother you in kisses, and roll over for belly rubs. She gently takes treats, showing off all the tricks she knows like sit, paw, other paw, and down. With some of the softest fur we’ve ever felt, Mia is content to snuggle up on the couch while you pet her. Mia is dog friendly with proper introductions and tolerant dogs; she can be a little much for others. <br/><br/>Mia has completed training with 203k9 in Stamford to get over her fear of strangers...and she is doing great so far!
