Mia's Story

Mia is a 9-month-old scruffy terrier shih tzu mix with a big personality and endless energy. Always ready for adventure and a romp, Mia spends her time playing with other dogs and loving on her humans. Outside and in day care, she is the star of the show, always ready for the next photo op and to hear the latest gossip.
While her personality might be larger than life, her petite 20 lb size makes her ideal for almost any living situation. Mia asks her future family to be active and ready to have the time of their lives. She thrives with structure and pleasing her person. When she has an outlet for her energy- call her a little energizer bunny. In her foster home, she is in daycare while foster mom is at work. This works wonders for Mias socialization and play needs. Other outlets can include runs, jogging, nonstop fetch, agility training, or a lure course. She is ideal for agility!
She gets along with all dogs. Her personality is a bit overwhelming for the timid or scared cats. However, if you have a cat that is confident, cool, and Garfield like, then they just might be a match!
Mia is spayed, vaccinated, and chipped.
If you’re looking for a fun, spirited young dog with tons of potential, Mia might be your girl.
If interested in adopting or fostering Mia, please complete an application, which can be found on our website at www.twentypawsrescue.com/forms-applications.
