Mia's Story

Meet Mia! Sweet baby Mia was picked up as a stray after she was seen darting in and out of traffic and hiding under trains in rural South Georgia. This poor little girl had obviously been on her own for quite some time

Mia is about 8-9 months old and appears to be a flat coated retriever mix. She's as sweet as can be, without a mean bone in her body! She's a bit timid in new situations but will gladly snuggle into your lap for reassurance. Mia is looking for a home with another adult dog who can boost her confidence and help her keep learning all the things she needs to know to grow into the amazing dog she's meant to be!

Interested in adopting? Rescue Me Ga Inc's Adoption Policy
We have an application process that we require for any adoption. The application can be found on our website at www.rmgdogs.org - its the first step in our process and required before we set up a time for you to meet the dog you are interested in …. ALL of our dogs are completely vetted - all vaccines - spay or neuter - dewormings - chip - heart worm tested and treated if needed and ready to be loved. WE are foster based which means our dogs are in homes or temporary boarding when we rescue them -- we know their personalities and what would be their best fit! Our dogs come from a rural Georgia shelter and often we take in surrenders from families facing difficult situations….. WE do post many dogs still in need at animal control as well as all who have been saved already that are in foster homes. We do NOT operate a facility where you can visit the dogs unless you contact us to possibly meet one already in a foster
