Meza's Story

Meza is a sweet, friendly 1 1/2 year old 15 pound little guy who came to our rescue after his owner sadly had to surrender him and his sister Hillary due to health concerns. While it was a difficult decision for his previous family, Meza has shown nothing but love, resilience, and a whole lot of tail wags since arriving with us.

This adorable boy loves being outside—sniffing, exploring, and taking in every new scent like it’s the best treasure he’s ever found. When he’s not adventuring in the yard, Meza is happiest curled up next to you for a cozy nap. He’s wonderfully affectionate and loves being close to his people. Meza recently started having mild seizures and while we do not know what brought them on, they are being managed by medication which is administered daily. He does great with all humans but will nip if he feels you’re being too rough or gets startled.

Meza is both house trained and crate trained, making the transition into a new home that much easier. He’s a well-mannered little companion with a big heart.
Meza came in with his sister, and while they would be delighted to find a home together, it’s not required. Meza will do perfectly fine on his own as long as he has a loving person or family to call his own. (For more information on Hillary check out her profile.)

If you’re looking for a small, sweet, loyal friend who’s ready for outdoor fun and indoor snuggles, Meza might be your perfect match!

Meza is currently being fostered in South Texas.

The posted adoption fee covers all shots according to age, spay/neuter, a certified clean bill of health with a health certificate, and transport.

*Transport is available to any approved adopter within the contiguous states.

If you are interested in adopting this precious face, please fill out our application to adopt and a representative will be in touch with you.

https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/KAA/Dog
