Meyer's Story

How this pet arrived:Meyer was brought in by a community member on March 23, 2026. Why Meyer might be the one for you: Meyer has so many wonderful qualities that it's hard to know where to start - he's a handsome boy with striking eyes and an endearing personality! Though he began his journey with us shy and fearful, he's blossomed into a much more confident and easygoing dog who's learning to enjoy life while he waits for his new home. He's a smart guy too, already knowing "sit" and "shake" and eager to learn more! Meyer came in with another dog and does well on social walks, so he may enjoy having a confident canine friend to help show him the ropes. He handles walks and outings beautifully, calmly exploring and sniffing without any signs of stress or mischief. Meyer is looking for a home without young children, with people who can keep his world small at first and help him build confidence at his own pace. Gentle, well-behaved and wonderfully mellow, he'd make an ideal companion for someone with a relaxed lifestyle. If you're looking for a loyal, laid-back best friend, Meyer just might be your guy - he's ready when you are!At SDHS:Meyer has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home! Shy/Fearful Dog: Meyer requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about him. Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 58.2lbs Age: 2yrs 9mths 1wks Animal has been Neutered
