Merry is a gentle, sensitive girl who truly thrives as part of a pack. She looks to other dogs for guidance and reassurance, so she will need a confident, friendly canine companion in her forever home.<br/>While she's cautious around new people, patience pays off. Once Merry trusts you, she's affectionate, loyal, and loves being part of the family. She is fully house-trained and crate-trained, happily eating and sleeping in her crate, and she knows a few basic commands.<br/>Merry walks nicely on a leash in the backyard, but she's still too nervous to venture beyond the safety of home. She does, however, attend doggy daycare once a week and does wonderfully with the other dogs there-a testament to how much confidence she gains from canine friends.<br/>Because of her sensitive nature, Merry would do best with someone who has experience with German Shepherds or shy rescue dogs. She'll thrive in a calm, predictable home with minimal loud noises or excessive barking, as sudden sounds can frighten her.<br/>A secure home is also essential.
