Merida's Story

Say Hi to Merida!This sweet, 4 year old, female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel came to us from an Amish puppy mill. She is learning what life is like outside of a kennel!

Merida is shy in new situations, but warms up fast. Especially if she has some doggy siblings to follow around!

She is a sweet girl full of personality and humor. She keeps her foster parents laughing and on their toes. She loves to snuggle when you sit down to relax! Merida would do best in a home with other dogs, a fenced in yard to safely explore, and a patient family who understands the first 4 years of her life were rough. She is learning to love her new life! But she stills gets scared easily.

Merida is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative. She is doing great in a crate, on a leash and with her potty training.

If you have a quiet home, with a fenced in yard and other dogs looking for a new sister: please visit our website and complete an adoption application https://www.prodogsohio.org/adoptables

Her adoption fee is $350
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We appreciate your support, in order to help us continue to rescue dogs! Donations can be made via our PayPal account - info@prodogsohio.org.
You must be willing to commute to the location that the pet is being fostered in order to be eligible to adopt. We do not ship our pets. We also require that you personally bring the pet back to us should the adoption not work out.
We do NOT negotiate adoption fees. All money goes to support our rescue operation. We are 100% volunteered based.
We require your current dog(s) to be current on vaccines and heartworm prevention.
Apply online at www.prodogsohio.org, under the Adoptables tab.
Due to the volume of apps and inquiries, we may not be able to respond to everyone.
