Mercedes came to us as one of the most scared of the car puppies.<br/><br/>Unsure, timid, and not quite convinced that humans were safe.<br/><br/>Fast forward to now and this girl has learned that people are not so bad after all.<br/><br/>She has discovered gentle hands, kind voices, and that being loved feels pretty good.<br/><br/>Mercedes is incredibly sweet once she feels safe.<br/><br/>She is learning how to trust at her own pace and every little step forward is a big victory.<br/><br/>She also came in with mange and dry eye, but she is healing inside and out and showing us more of her soft personality every day.<br/><br/>This brave girl has come so far and her journey is just beginning
