Meet MEL! Mel is a 5 yo Merle french bulldog potato looking for a posh life after years of being a breeding machine. She’d ready for a new life after being rescued from a puppy mill. She currently weighs around 25 lbs. This world is scary and Mel is slowly learning that things are going to be OK. She needs patience and TLC as she learns to come out of her shell and overcome her trauma. She does well in a crate and is working on potty training. She could benefit from a confident doggy sibling. Mel is spayed, vaccinated and chipped. This sweet affectionate girl hopes someone will give her a loving home and a second chance at life. The Rescue Express's Adoption Policy

All potential foster families and adopters are required to fill out an application, both of which can be found on our website. Our foster families are our biggest resource, and the more foster families we add to our family, the more dogs we can save. Our foster families are required to provide a loving, healthy, temporary home for the dogs that we have pulled from shelters who have yet to find their forever families. The rescue covers all medical expenses while our dogs are in foster care. We also require our foster families to work with one of our trainers to address any behavioral problems that develop.
