Melody is a lively, affectionate Beagle. Her foster in Virginia says that she is a joy to have around as she gets comfortable with living in his home and with his Jack Russell. Melody enjoys her walks, does well on leash, and likes to nap in the sun. In a new setting, a structured routine is reassuring for her and will help her settle in. She does enjoy hanging out with another dog but would be okay as an only dog with an attentive owner. Melody likes attention and at times will seek petting and being held. She is largely housebroken if kept on a routine and sleeps well through the night on her dog bed. Melody is about 6 yrs old and weighs about 23 lbs. <br/><br/>Melody has now arrived in Massachusetts and is ready for visits. Her new foster reports that Melody loves to walk and has enjoyed climbing snowbanks. She is a world class cuddler too. She sleeps through the night in her crate with the door open. She loves to be with people, kids and adults alike.
