Because of that, she missed out on many of the everyday experiences and socialization that puppies need to build confidence.<br/><br/>Right now, Melody is shy and fearful of new people and situations. She is not aggressive and has never shown any signs of biting—she's simply unsure of the world around her. With patience, kindness, gentle handling, and positive experiences, we hope she'll continue to grow in confidence. While we can't promise how much she'll come out of her shell, we do know she deserves the chance.<br/><br/>Melody is looking for a family that understands she won't be the type of puppy who immediately runs into your arms. You'll need to be willing to go to her, earn her trust, and let her move at her own pace. The reward will come through patience, consistency, and love.<br/><br/>Because of her timid nature, we believe she would do best in a home with children 12 years of age or older.<br/><br/>We'll be happy to talk in detail with anyone interested in adopting Melody to make sure she's the right fit.
