He is mellow, loving, gentle, grateful, and about as sweet as they come. Mello didnt have the easiest start in life. He was found in a swamp after being bitten by a snake, his poor leg badly swollen. Thankfully, some amazing people found him, got him to safety, and made sure he received the care he desperately needed. And somehow, despite everything he has been through, Mello's heart is still overflowing with love. Mello is a sensitive soul. Loud noises can frighten him and cause him to tuck his tail and cower, so he needs a home where he can feel safe, protected, and reassured. Once he knows he's safe, get ready for the cuddles! Mello absolutely LOVES to snuggle and just wants to be close to his people. Mello is house trained and crate trained, although being in a crate does make him anxious, so he would much rather be hanging out near his people. And leash walking? Well... Mello says thats really not his thing! Because of this, a securely fenced yard would be best for him, giving him a safe place to explore, potty, and enjoy the outdoors without the stress of leash walks. He is wonderful with other dogs and cats, and he loves snuggling with kids. He is gentle, laid-back, incredibly affectionate, and, best of all, a professional cuddler. Mello Yellow has already experienced some of the worst this world can offer, and yet he chooses to give nothing but love. Now its his turn to experience the very best—a soft bed, gentle hands, a safe yard, lots and lots of cuddles, and a family who will make sure he never has to be afraid or alone again.
