Mel's Story
Introducing Mel 🩷

Mel is the proud momma of our four doodle pups also listed for adoption, and she has been an absolutely wonderful mother. She takes exceptional care of her babies—checking on them before she goes outside and again as soon as she comes back in. Her attentiveness and gentle nature truly show what a loving, devoted girl she is.
Mel is approximately 6 years old and weighs about 94 pounds of snuggly Labrador love. While she was a little shy at first, Mel has really come out of her shell and is now enjoying car rides, playing with toys, swimming, and going for walks. She also loves cozy snuggles with her foster mom.
Mel is great with kids, dogs, cats, and even cows! She has a calm, easygoing personality and honestly just wants to be loved. She has also made it clear that she is not a big fan of snowy weather—she heads outside, quickly takes care of business, and then hustles right back into the comfort of her warm home. ❄️🐾
Mel is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and will be spayed shortly. She is ready to find a forever home where she can be cherished as much as she deserves.
If you would like to learn more about Mel or one of our other rescue dogs please visit our website https://www.joshuafundrescue.org/adoptioninfo and fill out an application form.
