Megan's Story

Meet Megan!
Megan is one lucky girl who made the journey all the way from near Lake Chapala, Mexico to the Pacific Northwest and she's already embracing her new life with tail wags, curiosity, and plenty of cuddles! At around 3 years old and 59 pounds, Megan is the perfect mix of playful and chill. She's blossomed from a shy, unsure pup into a total snuggly goof who loves being close to her people. Whether she's curling up next to you while you work from home or greeting you with sweet kisses and happy tail wags, Megan is all about connection and love.
She's a smart cookie, too! Megan already knows commands like "sit," "leave it," and "drop it," and she's quickly picking up new skills. She enjoys getting out for walks and adventures, and while she may pull a bit at times, she responds well to gentle guidance and is eager to learn (especially when treats are involved!).
Megan has a calm, thoughtful side and does a great job relaxing at home. She's potty trained, sleeps quietly in her crate, and makes an excellent work-from-home buddy. She's friendly with people, does best with older kids, and is generally unbothered by dogs out on walks.
Meet Megan

Megan is a 3-year-old sweetheart with the perfect mix of brains, affection, and easygoing charm. If we had to sum her up, she's smart, loving, grateful, eager to please-and an absolute cuddle bug. She truly loves her people and quickly wins over everyone she meets. Whether you're a lifelong dog lover or someone who's usually "not a dog person," Megan has a way of changing minds-she's that special. Her gentle, affectionate nature and adorable "hug" (she'll literally reach out her paws when you're lying down) make her impossible not to fall for. Megan is also a well-mannered girl who already has a great training foundation. She knows commands like sit, stay, and off, and is doing well with come and "let's go." She's potty trained and even prefers going in the same spot, which makes life a little easier! She's eager to learn and loves having structure and guidance. She enjoys just about everything-walks, car rides, adventures, toys, and of course, snuggling up at the end of the day. While she has a calm, "chill" side at home, she also has an athletic streak and would love to join an active household that includes her in daily outings and fun.

Megan's ideal home would be one that offers a balance of activity and affection-where she's the only dog and she can be with someone who will take her on walks, adventures, and then welcome her in for plenty of cuddle time. She thrives on connection and will absolutely return that love tenfold.

She's the kind of dog who just gets it-and once she's yours, you'll wonder how you ever lived without her.
Could you be Megan's lucky hero?

PupFax: Megan
Adoption Status: Cleared and Ready!
Medical Clearance: Cleared/Going through med treatment
Medical Status: Cleared
Location: Bend/Central Oregon
Rescue Intake Type: Rescue/Shelter - International

At-a-Glance Stats
Breed: Mixed Breed
Size: Medium
Weight: 59 pounds (Approx. last weigh-in)
Sex: Female
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Vaccinations: Yes
Microchipped: Yes

Home & Lifestyle Fit
People: Yes
Dogs: Selective
Cats: TBD

Activity Level: Very active

Training & Manners
House/Potty Trained: Yes
Crate Trained: Yes
Leash Skills: Good
Commands Known: Sit, leave it, drop it.
Food/Treat Motivation: Good
Health Notes: None
Overall Health: Good
Known Medical Needs: None

(All known medical and behavioral information is disclosed prior to adoption.)
