Meet Jekyll – Your Next Great Adventure Buddy's Story

Meet Jekyll – Your Next Great Adventure Buddy

Jekyll is a two-year-old Siberian Husky who’s equal parts energy, smarts, and heart. At 54 pounds, he’s the perfect mix of athletic and cuddly—ready to hike a trail, chase a toy, or curl up after a long day together.

When you meet him, you’ll see a dog who’s eager to please. He walks beautifully on leash, takes treats gently, and seems to have some potty training under his belt. He’s also got that classic Husky independence—confident enough to entertain himself, but happiest when he’s part of the pack.

Jekyll was recently tested with other dogs and showed his preferences clearly: he did well with a friendly female but wasn’t thrilled about sharing space with a dominant male. Like many Huskies, he can be selective about his canine friends and may “over-correct” if another dog pushes boundaries. With fair management, structure, and understanding of Husky behavior, he’ll thrive.

This beautiful boy allowed all-over handling at the shelter and shows every sign of wanting to bond deeply with his person. What he needs now is a home that understands him—a family ready to give him that forever kind of love he’s been waiting for.

Breed: Siberian Husky
Age: 2 years
Weight: 54 lbs
Neutered Male
Temperament: Smart, affectionate, confident, playful
Dog Compatibility: Best with females or as the only dog

Jekyll’s story almost ended too soon, but now that he’s safe, he’s ready for his second chance. Could that be with you?
