Meet Angel – A Sweet & Loving Companion's Story
Female
Hound/Bulldog mix
3 - 3.5 months (estimated DOB between 07/15 and 07/30/2025)
19 Pounds current
Microchipped
Current on Shots

***Angel will come with a spay contract. It will be the adopter's financial responsibility to have her spayed at the vet recommended age and proof will need to be sent to Freedom Street Rescue***

Angel was about 9 weeks old when she and her siblings were dumped in rural Texas. A nice lady found them and thought they were way too cute to take to a kill shelter, so she searched for help. That’s when Freedom Street Rescue stepped in to help all five puppies find loving homes in the Northeast.

Angel’s foster mom describes her as a curious, yet shy and cautious puppy who is the runt of her litter. She enjoys playing with her siblings one on one but can be overwhelmed when all her siblings team up and become too rambunctious. Her siblings are all faster and stronger than Angel and sometimes pick on her. Instead of fighting back, Angel just waits until her siblings are finished with an activity or a toy before she tries it out. Angel’s foster mom says that Angel needs time to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she is friendly, playful, entertaining, and an absolute sweetheart – which is why she is named “Angel!” Angel loves the time she gets to run and explore outside, but she also enjoys her down time in the house trying out new squeak toys and settling down for a nap. Angel really likes adult dogs. Her foster mom thinks Angel would do best in a home with a friendly adult dog who will show her the ropes and allow Angel to build her confidence and let her personality shine.

Angel is doing very well on house training and sleeps through the night.

Angel looks like a Hound or Cur mix. Her coat is short with black and white coloring, with a medium coat around her neck. Her body style is more slender than her siblings. Angel weighed 11 lbs. at about 9 weeks so she will most likely grow to be a large dog. Angel’s mom is a large, docile bulldog mix. Her dad is unknown. Her estimated DOB is between 7/15 and 7/30/2025.

Angel is being fostered in Texas and will be transported to the Northeast upon adoption. Her adoption fee is $275, plus a transport fee of $250.

If you are looking for a sweet and loving companion, Angel may be the perfect puppy for you!
