Meep's Story

Meep arrived at the San Diego Humane Society as a stray. When no one came forward to claim her, we welcomed her as a Frosted Face. She's estimated to be about 12 years old, weighs 15 pounds, and is as sweet as can be.

Meep went on a two-week Frosted Fling, and she proved to be such a well-behaved, loving little girl that her stay has happily turned into a foster home. Here's the full report from her foster mom:

"Meep (Meemee) is a lover! She'll snuggle on you, next to you, in your lap, on your chest, in a sling, in her crate, in your bed, in your arms, under blankets, and even in your coat! Meep is dog-friendly, cat agnostic, and loves her people. She is also house-trained and sleeps through the night.

Meep has very limited vision but is highly confident and capable! She's mapped routes to all the important spots (the back door, the couch, the garage door, the pantry, etc.). She loves walks and trots along at a good pace for a good hour, and is VERY good and easily lead on a leash. She also enjoys being outside on a lead to explore the front and back yards and soak up the sun while I garden.

Meep is a great excursion companion! We've been to farmer's markets, lunch dates, and kids' sports events and she soaked in all the sounds, smells, and scritches with calm and quiet curiosity.

Meep really is so easy, friendly, confident, and trusting. The only med she's on is her insulin shot twice a day. It's given as she eats and she hardly notices. Otherwise, she's totally spry and fit. We just know Meep will make a great companion for someone special!"

If you're looking for a loving, fun, and well-behaved companion, sweet Meep might be the perfect match for you! Please don't let her insulin injections discourage you from considering her-we'll show you everything you need to know and will cover the cost of her insulin and supplies for the rest of her life.

To meet sweet Meep, please email:
placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
