Meatball's Story

Meatball (approximately 60 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. This happy-go-lucky fellow was lucky enough to spend time in a Southern foster home, where we learned that he gets along well with other dogs and is fully house trained. In fact, Meatball's foster parents report that he is the kind of dog who is happy to see people & other dogs pretty much all the time. This social, affectionate, and outgoing boy was a superstar at Texas adoption events, easily winning the hearts of his visitors with his calm yet loving demeanor. Alas, there are not a lot of adopters for large adult dogs in Texas, but their loss is our gain - Meatball is thrilled to be in New Hampshire, making new friends and sniffing new sniffs everywhere he goes. Introducing Meatball to the joys of New Hampshire - from our beaches to our lakes to our mountains - is going to be so much fun since he is always appreciative of time spent out & about with his humans. Come meet Mr. Meatball today - he'll definitely be happy to see you!

If you'd like to meet Meatball and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
