Meadow's Story

Meet the Woodland Wanderers: Meadow, Reed, River, and Willow

These four sweet pups came into rescue at just over two weeks old after their mother sadly passed away. With round‑the‑clock bottle feeding and plenty of love, they’ve grown into healthy, affectionate little explorers who are now ready to find their forever families.

Their mom was said to be a husky mix, though their full DNA is a mystery — we lovingly call them NC Specials. Based on their build and background, we expect them to land somewhere around 40–60 lbs once fully grown, though that’s our best guess.

Because of their likely husky traits, we prefer homes with a secure fenced yard where they can safely stretch their legs, play, and burn off that joyful puppy energy.

Each pup has their own budding personality, but they all share the same gentle nature, playful curiosity, and love for snuggles. After such a tender start to life, they deserve homes where they’ll be cherished and continue to thrive.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a heartwarming rescue story, one of these Woodland Wanderers might be the perfect addition to your family.

Meadow is a sweet, gentle little girl with the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddly charm. She loves romping around with her puppy pals and chewing on a good stick, but she’s just as happy finding a quiet spot for a cozy nap. If playtime gets a little too rough, Meadow will adorably seek out safety in your lap or tuck herself under a chair—then pop right back out when she’s ready to join the fun again.

Great with kids and highly treat-motivated, Meadow is eager to learn and would thrive in a loving home that offers both playtime and reassurance. She enjoys affection, but after a quick cuddle, she’s ready to get back down and keep the fun going.

DOB 2/5/2026
