McKenzie's Story

McKenzie is a sweet, energetic 3-year-old Heeler who has been waiting patiently for her chance at a forever home. She was surrendered to us because she did not do well with cats, so she will need a cat-free home. But when it comes to people and other dogs, McKenzie is a completely different story—she is a loving girl who does well with other dogs and absolutely adores children!
McKenzie has been with us for quite some time now, and honestly, she's starting to go a little kennel crazy. She is ready to get out of the shelter and into a home where she can stretch her legs, get some attention, and finally have a chance to be herself.
McKenzie has primarily lived outdoors, but she has shown us that she really enjoys being inside, too! We think she would thrive in a home that gives her the best of both worlds—comfortable indoor living with plenty of opportunities to run, play, and burn off her Heeler energy.
Her previous family told us that McKenzie loves to run, so a fenced-in yard or regular access to a safe play area would be ideal. She would also love an active family with kids who can keep her busy and help her burn off some of that endless Heeler energy!
McKenzie isn't asking for much—just a family willing to give her some exercise, lots of love, and a place to call home. She's been waiting long enough. Let's get McKenzie out of that kennel and into a forever home! ????
