McDuff's Story
McDuff, or Duffy as we call him, is an adorable pup looking for his forever family. He is currently 14 weeks old and is a living doll. He is a little cautious when he first meets you, but is very happy to snuggle and receive pets and belly rubs when he knows you a bit better. He does like other dogs and has a little cavalier pup who is currently his favorite playmate. He would be fine with a fur brother or sister or is happy to be an only pup. He is at a great age for training and will need basic obedience as well as leash training. We are currently working on crate training and he is doing well. He does much better if he has had a play session prior to going into the crate as he is ready for a nap. If he is not sleepy when placed in the crate, he does at time protest. He does bark constantly, but will do 2 quick barks about once every 30 seconds until he settles. This is getting to be fewer times and far between so he is definitely getting into his schedule. He is currently around 7 pounds and small so being left for long periods in a crate is not something that will work for him. His bladder is not mature and he needs physical and mental stimulation. If you are prepared for a pup and Duffy peeks your interest, email iPAWinc2022@gmail.com for an application or more information.
