McCoy's Story
Hi there!

My name is McCoy, and I am a single breed Border Collie! I will be 2 years old in February. I am a very shy guy, but I am extremely affectionate once I trust you. I am quite the social butterfly with other dogs, in fact my bestest friend in the world is a wee little guy about the size of my head! I am very gentle with him. I also have another friend who is the same size as I am, and we wrestle and run together all the time.

I am still learning how to be a house pet, so my foster Mom makes me wear a belly band in the house. She tells me "come put your pants on!" and I stand in front of her and let her put it on. Most often it is dry, but sometimes I forget. I never poop in the house though.
I am a good boy, and I have learned to relax in my crate.

I would be an excellent working dog, or just your side kick! I do need a fenced yard to start, but I am a very good boy once I know I am safe, and I am allowed to run outside the fenced yard in the country.

I would prefer a country home, as loud noises frighten me, and I am not great on a leash yet.
OH! I forgot to tell you, I have a beautiful smile! It is a funny smile, and it looks like I am mad, but really, I just want to show you my pretty teefs when I am happy or nervous!

My foster Mom says I am the sweetest boy in the world. She's not wrong you know!
I take treats gently, and love cuddles and pets.
I wouldn't min a home with older kids, but loud noises are scary, so little children would be too much for my sensitive self! I am sorry my pictures aren't the best, but cameras and phones kinda freak me out.

If you feel McCoy could be a great match for you, please complete an adoption application on our website www.hullshaven.org. Adoption fee is $450 and this includes their core vaccines (DA2PPV, Rabies) deworming, health checks and spay/neuter, as well as any care required. All finalized adoptions come with a free 6 week trial of pet insurance with Pet Secure.
