Maze's Story
**Maze is available through TCHS' Adoption Ambassador Program and is not at the shelter! Call 320-252-0896 to arrange a meet-and-greet**

Meet Maze! He's on the hunt for a forever home!

Maze is housetrained and will whine or sit by the door when he needs to go out. He knows "sit," "stay," "shake" and "lay down." Maze loves riding in cars, playing fetch, and cuddling with his people! Maze was used to having a fenced in acre to run around and play in.

Maze has interacted with children between the ages of 5 to 10 years old and has been friendly and playful! He has not been around cats.

Per his previous owners, Maze has a mixed history with other dogs and has been said to "match energy." He has lived with another large dog who would regularly bully him and start fights. In those situations, he would reciprocate the other dog's behavior in self-defense. He has peacefully coexisted with 2 smaller dogs in his previous home.

A meet-and-greet with resident dogs is strongly encouraged prior to adoption. Introductions of any new pet to the household should be done gradually and with direct supervision. Ask TCHS staff about this process; we'd love to set you up for success!

Maze is a goofball and social butterfly who seems to make instant friends with any human who comes to visit him. Come meet this A-MAZE-ING boy today!

* Adoption Ambassador (AA) animals are available for adoption but reside in a TCHS foster home instead of in the shelter. Meet-and-greets are scheduled in a first-come, first-served manner. Adoption holds are NOT accepted on AA animals unless the potential adopter has already met the animal. If you are interested in meeting this AA pet, meet-and-greets may be scheduled by calling 320-252-0896.

**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
