Mayva is a 5 yr old Jack Russell Terrier and has all of the great qualities that any terrier should have! She’s active, loyal, tenacious, and sweet. She also has some tendencies that we don’t always appreciate…she will be very vocal around men/strangers/neighbors/new people and isn’t easily redirected. If someone scares her she will flee or fight….or both depending on the person’s reaction. New children really set her on edge and she will nip if they’re too active. Once you are “her person” you are hers forever and she’s super snuggly and sweet! She is mildly resource aggressive to other dogs but it has improved immensely with time in foster care. She will also pee a small amount when she’s nervous or fearful which will be common in the first couple of weeks in a new home. That has also stopped since she’s acclimated to her foster home. She needs someone who can boost her confidence, give her some basic training, and maintain her active lifestyle! <br/>Mayva is fully vetted, including a recent dental cleaning.
