Meet Mr. Mayo! Mayo is one happy boy! With a tail that never stops wagging, and always ready to give kisses, Mayo loves with his whole little heart! He loves to snuggle under the covers with you and will spend all night happily by your side. He loves playing with squeaky toys, and has lots of energy for a senior pup. He loves other calm dogs and will snuggle with them and even shows his affection by licking their eyes and ears for them. He even likes cats! Mayo is quiet and clean in his crate, and is doing very well with house training. He loves a nice morning jaunt around the neighborhood, and watching the world go by out the window during car rides. Mayo is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. His senior bloodwork looked good but he does have a grade 5 heart murmur. He will be having a dental cleaning prior to adoption. Knox Vintage Pet Project's Adoption Policy

We have a written application all potential adopters must fill out. Once the application is complete, we call all vet references to make sure their current pets are well taken care of (up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention, sterilized). If the adopter rents, we will call the landlord to make sure they are allowed to have pets and have no restrictions. We require a meet and greet with all of their current pets before adoption.

We are a non profit organization with the goal of providing better quality of life for homeless senior and special needs pets near Knoxville. We are a small organization who relies solely on adoption fees and donations from the public.
