My name is Mayme and I am a fun loving, four year old female Sheltie mix. I am smart, housetrained, know some basic commands and mind my foster Mom quite well. There are other dogs here and I play well with them. A lover, not a fighter, I enjoy petting, ear rubs and would sleep in the bed if my foster Mom would allow it.. I currently weigh 31 lbs. and am slightly underweight, so I am doing my best to eat a little extra and will sit for all the treats that I am offered. My perfect new home will have another playful dog and active parents who will work with me on leash training. I would not do well with young children, as I am quite exuberant and might knock them over. I am also a jumper, so need at least a 6 foot fence for my own security. Please come meet me at Petco on 75th & Metcalf on the second and third Saturdays each month, from 11-1. Local KC area adoption only.
