Meet Maya ❤️ A sweet, intelligent 6-year-old Cattle Dog/Husky mix looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home. Maya is fully potty trained, crate trained, and recently completed a professional board-and-train program, where she made incredible progress with leash skills, confidence building, impulse control, place work, and learning to relax.She is affectionate, loyal, and eager to please. Maya forms strong bonds with her people and thrives with structure, consistency, and clear leadership. She is continuing to work through some separation anxiety and resource guarding related to insecurity, and she’s doing wonderfully with her training.<br/>🏡 Maya’s ideal home:<br/>• Adults or families with older children<br/>• An active home committed to daily exercise (about 3 miles of walking)<br/>• Someone willing to continue her training and provide consistent structure<br/>🎓 Two private training sessions through From The Heart Dog Services are included to help ensure a successful transition.<br/>❤️ Maya has so much love to give and is ready for the right person to help her continue building confidence.
