Maya's Story

Sweet Maya is finally learning what it means to feel safe and she's loving every second of it.
Maya was rescued from euthanasia just in the nick of time after being abandoned at a homeless encampment and brought to the shelter. Her story could have ended there, but instead, it became a second chance. Today, Maya is so happy and full of joy in her loving foster home showing everyone just how special she is.
Maya is a true love muffin. She adores being close to her human, happily soaking up affection, cuddling on the couch, and flashing her best smile ever. She enjoys playing with her toys, walks nicely on leash, and has a calm, happy presence that makes her a joy to be around.
She's fully vetted, spayed, and in good health. Around 3 years old and 55 pounds, Maya is social, dog-friendly, and would do best in a home with another compatible dog to help keep her company and confidence strong. She has excellent indoor manners and sleeps well in a crate or in her dog bed.
Maya isn't asking for much just a forever home where she'll never be left behind again. A place where she can continue to heal, love deeply, and finally belong.
If you're interested in meeting Maya or learning more, please reach out to Hope for Sweet Homes:
626-483-6936 or email
hope4sweethomes@gmail.com
Currently fostered in Alhambra, CA.

Maya's second chance is already in motion, now she just needs her forever person to say yes!
