Maya's Story

Maya was one of 4 dogs rescued from South Texas. They were surviving in the woods next to a very busy highway.. She is shy at first with new people, but is so thankful to be rescued. She’s still learning that not everyone will abandon her. Maya is affectionate with her foster mom. She now loves being inside and only prefers to be outside to potty, then is ready to be in the nice AC! Maya has been living with other dogs but would enjoy a home where she’s the only dog too. She’s now been vaccinated, spayed, and is loving foster care. She's also going through heartworm treatment, covered by the rescue at our vet in Meridian. Her adoption fee includes spay, vaccinations, microchip, and her transport to Idaho. Please apply to adopt Maya below!
