Maya's Story
4-month-old Maya came to the shelter as a stray, so we don't know her background. But what we do know is that she is an absolute lovebug who loves to meet new people. She recently went on her first walk, and while she was a bit nervous at first by all the new sounds and smells, she relaxed quickly and had a blast.

At just 26 pounds, Maya is what we like to call a "pocket pittie", though we don't know how much larger she'll get. Maya is a very smart puppy and has already mastered sit (though she's still working on her potty training)!
If you're interested in adopting magnificent Maya (and her floppy ears), please email animalservices@greenbeltmd.gov or call 301-474-6124 for more information.
