In the past month alone, she has been in three different homes through no fault of her own. She was first passed along in a Walmart parking lot, then taken in by a kind person who wanted to help her find a better situation, and now she’s settling into her foster home where she’s finally getting the stability she deserves.<br/>With so much change in such a short time, it’s no surprise that Maya is experiencing some separation anxiety. She bonds very quickly and deeply with her person and simply wants to feel safe and secure. Once she knows you’re hers, she is completely devoted.<br/>Maya is an expert cuddler. She loves curling up in your lap and, at night, will happily sleep under the covers snuggled right up against you. If you’re looking for a constant companion, Maya is your girl.<br/>She’s also starting to show her playful side! She has begun picking up toys and engaging in play, and it’s been wonderful to watch her confidence grow. She’s a great eater and enjoys mealtime.<br/>Maya will be spayed and have her retained baby teeth removed on 2/16, setting her up for a healthy future.<br/>This little girl just needs a patient, loving home where she can finally feel safe and stay forever.
