Maxx's Story

Meet Maxx

Sometimes, there is just a dog you can't stop thinking about... and for us, that dog was Maxx.

We try to visit our local shelters as often as we can, always looking for pups who may need a second chance. Over the last couple of weeks, we visited one shelter three different times, and each time we walked through the kennels, we saw the same handsome face, the same sweet eyes, and the same friendly smile still waiting.

By the third visit, we knew we had to meet him.

And just as we suspected, Maxx was everything we hoped he would be and more. This gentle soul greeted us with kindness, affection, and a heart full of love. There was no way we were leaving without making sure this special boy got the chance he deserved.

At 10 12 years old and 72 pounds, Bullmastiff mix Maxx may be considered a senior, but don't let his age fool youhe has plenty of love to give, plenty of life left to live, and so many adventures still ahead of him.

He is a gentle, loving boy who deserves a soft bed, a warm home, a family to adore him, and a life filled with all the spoiling and affection he has likely been missing. We are told that Maxx has lived with children and other dogs, making him a wonderful candidate for a family looking for a calm and loyal companion.

It breaks our hearts to think that a dog this sweet spent even one day sitting alone in a shelter, but his story is changing now. Maxx is safe with us, and now we need your help to find him the forever home he has always deserved.

Senior dogs have a special way of stealing your heart, and we have a feeling Maxx is going to do exactly that.

Could you be the one to give Maxx the happy ending he has been waiting for?

If you are interested in meeting this incredibly sweet boy, please submit an application on our website.

Please share Maxx's story and help us show him that his best days are still ahead.
