Maxx's Story
Maxx is a Minipin mix, is black with sable, and is approximately two years old and weighs 15 pounds. Maxx is very active and would be a very good on-leash hiker or jogger. He chases toys and tennis balls and loves to play and would learn to bring them back. Maxx responds to his name and is a little fearful of humans at first (may have been abused), but loves his fosters. It is recommended that he be fostered for a week or so to make sure he’s a good fit for you and your family. Maxx sleeps in bed with his foster. Maxx eats 1/2 cup of Costco beef-flavored Nature’s Domain kibble with freeze-dried beef liver powder as a topper, twice a day.
Maxx is potty-trained and goes out first thing in the morning and knows how to use a doggie door (if you’re in a safe neighborhood). Maxx rides well in a car.
Maxx is neutered, has a microchip, and is up-to-date on his rabies, Parvo/distemper, and Bordetella shots. We believe that Maxx was dumped in an area near where one of our volunteers lives, and he was a little difficult to catch.
For an opportunity to meet and greet Max, please call Polly, an ADR Volunteer at 480-215-2349.
