Maxlow's Story

Maxlow is an exuberant boy, who currently weighs 99 pounds. He is slightly overweight though, haha. He is about 4 years old and does best with lots of space. He is used to being on the move, and is not used to being left alone for long. He was raised on the streets, since a pup, with his person 24/7. We believe he can adapt to home life as Maxlow is a smart guy! He does well in our much less confined yards here. He likes toys and will fetch, but doesn't always bring it back...yet! I'm sure he can learn though! He loves stuffed frozen kong toys. He has met a few dogs, and does well with them, as long as they can tolerate his high energy. He can be pretty playful with other dogs. He is confident and will go up to anybody to say hi. We are trying to teach him to have better leash manners, and hope someone is willing to continue his lessons. He tends to pull, but is definitely learning and getting better! We don't have history on cats or kids, but believe he could do well with bigger kids. He loves water and really likes the little pool in his yard. He is a sweet, goofy guy!

He's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. He is $175 to bring home!

If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
