Maxine's Story

Meet Maxine AKA Maxie! Maxine came to us from a bad puppy mill situation in GA. She is about 2 years old and ready for her new furever life to begin! Maxine is shy at first but once she knows you are not going to hurt her she is by your side at all times. Maxine would do best in a quiet home filled with snuggles and love. Because she can be a bit shy, we recommend a house without small children. She gets along great with big and small dogs as long as she is fed separately as due to her past she had to fight for food. She lived a very hard life before coming to us. She is very friendly with whoever she meets on walks. <br/><br/>She is crate trained at night with no issues. However, her favorite potty spot outside is her foster mom's porch. This behavior is possibly due to her backyard breeder history but will get more comfortable over time. <br/><br/>We do not answer inquiries directly from this website.
