We rescued this awesome dog after a plea from a county shelter. Maxie was very scared and needed out. Maxie is an active puppy and is a little nervous at first. Once he decompresses he is your shadow and loves you so much. Our foster said Maxie was very scared at first but after a week he was sweet and loving. Maxie is great with all of our fosters dogs and cats in the household. He loves to cuddle, go for walks and run around our fosters yard! Maxie has a thick beautiful coat he was full of mattes when we got him. But he is professionally groomed now. Maxie has a typical shih tzu feisty temperament.<br/>Maxie is a very young male 8 month old Shih Tzu and Maltese mix. Maxie weighs about 12 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on all his shots, heartworm flea preventatives, dewormed and microchipped! Please only apply if you are willing to be patient and let him decompress. Maxie requires dog grooming and previous shih tzu ownership is a plus.
