Maxie's Story

This stunning girl is Maxie. She is 5 years old, about 45 lbs, and good with cats and dogs. She will melt your heart with those big puppy eyes!! She has come such a long way from being feral and is so eager to experience life. She is still initally nervous around new people, sounds, and environments but she is working on her confidence in her foster home. Her furever home should be willing to continue that work with her. She just needs love, patience, and a safe home. She is so capable of love, trust, and has worked so hard!!!

Her perfect home? A fenced-in yard that gives her a safe space to explore, run, unwind, and do her business, especially as she adjusts to her new home. A quiet home, kids 16+, is preferred. While she does not have a mean bone in her body, we want to minimize stressors for this timid girl. We would LOVE for Maxie to have a doggie sibling around her age, that will play with her, help her with her confidence, and that she can learn from. She REALLY likes dogs!

Maxie is housebroken and does well with crate time.

If you think you may be a good fit for Maxie, inquire today! We would consider foster to adopt arrangement for the right family.
