Maxi's Story
Meet Maxi!

This lovely little one came to us from a hoarding situation. Dogs from this kind of background typically have not had the best care and clearly Maxi lacked some socialization. She is doing wonderfully in her foster home and is ready for a great future with a loving family.

Maxi is a fabulous 2-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing just 8.8 pounds, with a sweet face and a happy personality that will steal your heart.
Maxi has experienced significant changes recently, and her resilience is remarkable. She’s the kind of pup who needs a little time to quietly observe her new world. She may appear timid at first, but once she feels safe and loved, she’ll surprise you with her playful personality. She’s smart, sweet, cuddly, and confident once she settles in. She loves the company of other dogs and absolutely adores her people.

Maxi is just beginning to learn her basic training skills, but she’s young, smart, and eager to please. She’s already a pro at walking on leash, quiet and well behaved at home, and making great progress with potty training. With a consistent routine and a little supervision, we’re confident she’ll continue to make great strides. These days, she’s also keen to show off her “sit” and “touch” skills. Chicken is a favorite training treat, and the company of other dogs clearly inspires her and helps her thrive. She is best for kids over 10.

Maxi is spayed, vaccinated and chipped. Her adoption fee is $450

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
