Maxi's Story

Super cute 4 month old puppy. Maxi was found as a stray. She weighs 11 pounds now so she will be a small to medium sized dog when full grown. Puppies are a lot of work but if you put in the time when they are young, you get to enjoy a well trained dog for the rest of their life. Maxi is up to date on age appropriate vaccines, has been started on heartworm and flea prevention and her adoption fee includes a voucher for the mandatory spay and microchip when old enough.

Davie County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Cat adoptions are $100 and include first vaccines, spay or neuter and microchip. Dog adoptions are $180 and include first vaccines, heartworm test for dogs over 5 months, spay or neuter and microchip. We ask that adopters come in and meet pets they are interested in and then have a conversation with one of our adoption staff. Adoption fee includes a voucher for the mandatory spay or neuter.
