Maximum Velocity, aka Max, is a 9 month old Dobie mix looking to zoom his way into a new home. Max has all the charming qualities of his genetic make up… He’s derpy, he loves toys and to play, and will sit on your head like a cat if you let him. (Just ask Steve) <br/>Max LOVES other dogs and did well with his cat test! Don’t let his boisterous personality fool you - he knows sit, down, paw, and will do it all for a treat or tennis ball. He has some impulse control under his belt and will “wait” while holding his sit like a very good boi. Max is ready to spend a snowy weekend in with his new fam.

Goochland Animal Protection's Adoption Policy

All of the animals at our shelter leave with age appropriate vaccinations and many have been spayed/neutered. If they haven't, you will sign a contract stating that the animal you are adopting will be fixed. Dogs are heartworm tested and cats are FIV/FeLV tested. Animal are also dewormed and receive flea/tick treatment. Adoption Fees: Dogs: $90 Cats: $75
