Max Mojito's Story

Max - all freshly trained and ready to shower you with love!

Sweet Max is 3 years old and weighs 60 lbs. When he lets his fur down, Max is a wiggly snuggle bug full of love! He is food motivated and eager to please - he already knows basic commands and has spent months in foster with a trainer: smart, obedient, & ready to excel in his forever home! Despite his rough start. He really is very motivated to listen - he wants to make you happy - and maybe even get a treat or two!

In February, Max was found as a stray in the big city and brought to the shelter, where he was known as Mojito. At first, Max totally rocked his behavioral exams, but as the months went by in the stressful shelter environment and he kept getting looked over at every adoption event, poor Max grew sadder and sadder, more and more stressed, until he was literally bouncing off his kennel walls and became at risk for euthanasia. Luckily, we were able to rescue him in time and has since been renamed Max. He has always been a good boy and now he is a finely polished gentledog after being through an extensive training program. Max would do well in a home with older kids (12+) and female dogs. He has not been cat tested.

Max is fully vetted, neutered, micro chipped, and ready to go home with YOU!
If you can open your heart & home to dear Max, please contact AmsterDog by call/text at 917-689-8414 or by email at info@amsterdog.org. Apply to adopt Max Mojito at AmsterDog.org.

Thanks for caring about a pet in need!
