Meet Max! At 6 years old and 8 pounds, Max is a funny little guy with a big personality and some very strong opinions about how relaxing should be done. He's a couch potato at heart and loves rolling onto his back for belly rubs, working on a chew, or hanging out with his favorite sheep stuffy — which will, of course, be coming with him to his new home. Max is affectionate without being clingy and is perfectly happy entertaining himself when the mood strikes.<br/><br/>Max walks beautifully on a loose leash and is completely unphased by the busy energy of city life — cars, horse and buggies, crowds, and other dogs don't faze him one bit. He's friendly and polite with both people and dogs he meets on his walks, and his foster thinks he'd absolutely love having a dog sibling in his forever home. He's fully potty trained and does well with several short walks throughout the day. He also knows sit, down, paw, and spin!<br/><br/>At home, he's quiet, settled, and more than happy to spend a good chunk of the day napping. Max currently lives with another small dog and coexists nicely, but he'd also be completely content as the only pup in the home — though given how much he enjoys canine company on his walks, a home with another dog could be an especially wonderful fit.<br/><br/>Max is a dog who appreciates having his boundaries respected and is very good at communicating what he's comfortable with. Someone familiar with chihuahuas and their wonderfully specific little personalities would be a great match.
