Max was left on our front porch one morning, and while we don’t know much about his past, we’re getting to know what an amazing dog he truly is. At about 2 ½ years old and 92 lbs, he’s a big boy, but also a well-mannered one! Max is house-trained, non-destructive, and already knows “sit” and “paw.” He walks nicely on the leash, checking in with his person often, and loves to romp around outside or play with you. He is energetic and would love an outlet for his energy!<br/><br/>Despite his size, Max has a timid side. He can be easily startled and needs a little time to warm up to new people and places. Because of this, he’ll do best in a calm environment with adopters who can help build his confidence. Once he feels safe, you’ll see his playful, loyal, and incredibly sweet personality shine through.<br/><br/>Max has met a another female dog and did well, though he did try and hump her a few times. We recommend a meet and greet if there are other pets in the home.
