MAX's Story

Meet Max! He's a 2 year old poodle terrier mix that weighs about 16lbs. Max came to us through our community outreach program where he was living in a home with other animals that were bullying him. Max came to us with long matted hair which we had shaved (pre-groomed photo included for context), and some eye and ear infections which are all being treated. He is a cute, friendly little guy who likes his chin scratched. He is currently in a foster home with dogs and a cat. Max is neutered, microchipped, and current on shots. Downtown Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

Please submit an application online on our website. Once reviewed and approved we will arrange a meeting. If both parties feel its a good match, we set up a virtual or in-person home visit, complete the adoption contract and suggested donation of $250, and arrange a time to deliver your new companion. Please note: Our dogs are available for adoption in the greater Los Angeles area. We do not adopt out of state.
